Whole School Decision Education
Whole school decision education (WSDE) is the teaching of decision skills throughout the curriculum to enable deep, sustained skill development. WSDE is best achieved by having all students take a core course in decision skills and integrating decision skills into traditional subject areas, disciplinary and counseling processes, and administrative decision making. To implement and support WSDE, DEF works with committed schools to provide extensive teacher and school staff training in the fundamentals of good decision making and in how to incorporate these skills into the existing curriculum and other school programs.
