Doerr Leadership Institute Chooses DEF

The Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University reached out to share the course they built around DEF's Decision Skills Model. They selected the Decision Chain as the framework after an extensive survey of materials available in the area of Decision Science.  

​To assess the quality of their seminar, the Doerr Institute  measured changes in decision making efficacy and other aspects of interest, like intellectual humility. Designed by a professor, their rigorous evaluation provided supporting evidence that the course achieved the learning goals.

​The Doerr Institute also shared that students' reactions to the course experience were significantly higher compared with similar seminars. They were enthusiastic about DEF's model and expect to use it in future decision situations and leadership roles.
